The Beauty of History

Like many media classes we have to read about the history of media to fully understand things and oddly I learn something different each class that makes me read about it. The descriptions of people thinking the radio had some "god" like forms and a lot of people were disturbed by having a radio in their living room presence because it had some spyish features...Either way the anything newly created during the innocent years was referred to have some crazy spiritual meanings, now a days nothing new in media has that great of a shock value. The fact the radio was used/adapted by common farms blows my mind that makes me appreciate that little people can do big things baby!

TV these days has taken radio for a run for it's money but hey we might be able to watch TV while we bath and drive but both are dangerous to do, so many will stick with the good ol radio. Radios are still battery operated and when the power goes out the radio is a vital news source during particular moments. We started with the telegraph, to radio, to TV, and now the internet...we evolved as humans and along with it our technologies have too. TV is great, the internet is amazing, but radio is old school and like people going back to old school fashion I see the radio not dieing off for awhile. All forms of media rock and with each type we can learn from the other and overall the outcomes to all of them are great and informative.
